Nigel Lucas has spent the last 20 years in the hospitality industry and brings a wide range of development, franchising, and management services expertise.  After completing a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Hotel & Food Administration at the University of Guelph, Nigel moved to Vancouver to work with PKF Consulting as a feasibility and appraisal consultant.  There, he conducted a vast array of hotel appraisal work throughout Western Canada.  Following PKF, Nigel returned to Toronto to work as a development analyst for Delta Hotels prior to its sale to Marriott.  In this role, Nigel executed a variety of management and franchising deals growing the Canadian footprint for the brand. After 3 years at Delta, Nigel moved on to oversee franchising for Choice Hotels in Ontario.

After Choice Hotels, Nigel joined Superior Lodging Corp. and assumed the role of Vice President, Canada. He currently oversees the Canadian landscape for the Super 8 and Travelodge brands.
